I am just using these sytems as examples and nouthing more. I am realy just trying to understand how the two diff types of equipment pair against each other. There are so many diff possible combinations with a DYI. Of corse, when u look at the whole picture a reciever-speaker system will always win over say a pc audio system. But if the specks between the two are similar.......
Now, with pc hardware, the audio card is important to know. For the sake of argument it is a audigy2 ZS. Now that information shouldnt really matter, becaue the pc audio rig i will be using as an example has external decoders. So, technically i could just bypass the sound card.
