The Audio Critic Orion Review

The Audio Critic has reviewed the Linkwitz Orion. SL has posted the review on his website with permission.

A specific quote from Peter Aczel of "The Audio Critic"

"My enthusiasm for the Orion knows no bounds. I never had its equal in my listening room; I am totally sold on the “boxless” approach; and I am planning to keep my pair forever. What more can I say?"

I was lucky enough to hear a pair of the Pheonix speakers briefly when I visited another member's house at the weekend, and I was very impressed. I would certainly be considering a pair at the moment if only I had a big enough room to put them in...

Not as small as mine!

How small is "small"? Mine's 13 x 13 (feet).

I have a foot each way on you, but a lot of clutter!

I'm considering building the orion's but they don't do anything for me visually. Infact I find my face contorting when I look at them :xeye:

Anyone built a pair locally? Anything considerations for powering the active crossover (UK 240v)?
