I received my nOrh mini 9.0 kit earlier this week. These speakers use the following drivers:
Tweeter: Scanspeak D2905/970000 Woofer: Scanspeak Revelator 15W/8530-K00 nOrh sent me 9 flathead screws (about 1" long) and 9 roundhead screws (about 3/4" long and a little thicker than the flatheads). What has me confused is each woofer requires 5 screws to mount it, and each tweeter requires 4 screws. So logic tells me I should have gotten 10 of one kind of screw and 8 of the other, instead of 9 and 9. Consequently, I'm not sure which screws should be used for the tweeter and which for the woofer - or does it even matter? Thanks for your help. As you can imagine, I'm very anxious to get these drivers installed and start breaking in these beautiful speakers! |

Sounds like they simply miscounted. Not sure about those drivers - but I have seen tweeters with countersunk screw holes. Flat head screws are for countersink holes. I'd call them and ask for more screws and clarification.
