According to the literature, they can be placed anywhere in the room that is convenient, because they operate outside the audible range. That whole site is a fantastic laugh - Let's see, so far I've seen
- a $300 magic cable tie
- a "magic chip" which, placed on top of your CD player, processes your CDs to improve the sound - good for 10 discs then you have to buy a new one
- a $99 pill bottle full of little rocks that magically kills room nodes and absorbs excess EMI/RMI energy
I won't comment on their primary line of isolated platforms/shelves, since there may be some basis in science fact there and I don't want to start a war.

Sites like this are worth it for the sheer enjoyment of reading the pseudo-science. I find most of it hilarious.

Just set it on top of your CD player and play your CD...
" The upgrade takes less than 2 seconds and is permanent. Looking at the site, the speaker system shown is quite conventional with what looks like a TAD (knockoff?) 15" woofer and a standard horn, all done nicely in wood...
The "Microwave" reference most likely comes from the real but lose relationship between audio frequency horns and microwave horns having very similar physical dimensions and therefore similar in construction.
The "Quantum" reference comes from either a mis-understanding of the word in English, or mis application or else as is suspected by many here the deliberate intent to decieve.
What if anything the products do is another issue entirely.

Actually, what's funny is that someone out there might have paid money for any of these products. The upgrade chip. Man. That guy must have some super-secret government nanotechnology stuff going on in there. I mean, if it can do all that, including "sensing" when the cds are inserted via osmosis to turn itself on..
