This is my first time building my own speakers. I currently have a set of 8" studio monitors that sound great. I just think i can get a little more low-low end. I'm thinking of a speaker design:

For the speakers I was think of a mid-size speaker cabnet (36x24x12in) maybe. That's about 6 cubic feet, (correct me if i'm wrong).

I only wanted to spend around 300-400 for the speakers, and around 300-400 for the amps/crossover.

This is what i've come up with so far:

Speakers:

Hi-Vi D10G
Hi-Vi F6
Hi-Vi TN25

(the link has graphs and links to the speakers.)

From what i've heard about speakers, i think i'll want to go with an active crossover. So i was just thinking about getting 3 power amps,
and an external crossover. Like these:

Anyone have any ideas for the cabnet? Any ideas of other speakers? What do you think about the crosssover/amp decision?
