Hello,
I am looking at getting a pair of d2008/8512 or d2010/8513 and i'll use them with scan 8640s. Do they have any sonic differences ? Parameters are pretty much the same looking at the madisound catalog. Thank you.

FWIW , I am using ss9500s right now in my speakers with oversized mids (pl18s) and would like to get better midrange response. I am testing the 8640s right now with xt25s and don't particular like what I am hearing from the tweeters. 8640s do sound so sweet though , they need a good matching tweeter.
