Default 2-way driver selection.

from your great advises, i had good result from full-range driver project. many thanks. from the experience, wanted to try more intensive 2-way driver proj. i've narrow down to these drivers:

Tweeters,
seas 25tffc
seas 25tafc
vifa xt or mg series

Woofer,
6.5~7 inch selection
dayton dc160
dayton es180
peerless 833599

2nd or 3rd 2k crossover.

$100~150 per channel budget for drivers. any suggestion will be very helpful. thanks in advance.

Just for your total confusion:

Vifa
XG18WH00-08

and

Seas
27TDC

If you have budget of 100-150$ on each box for drivers only you should definately consider:

2x Seas CA15RLY

and 27TDC.

thanks for comment. i have 6.5inch precut enclosure. so, we gotta narrow down to 6.5 or 7in drivers. the enclosure is about 10l. for seas woofers, G17 and CB17 seems like good choice. anybody used hivi d6.8 or dynavox 6.5" drivers? they seems like dynaudio clones.

addition info: the hivi d6.8 seems like used for totem forest speakers.

You should use CA18RNX rather than the older 17's from Seas. L18RNX might also be an alternative.
