Anybody know if there is a loudspeaker competition anywhere in California?......or any listings of competitions in the United states?....it doesnt matter if it is diy or not.

The local (San Luis Obispo) AES chapter is starting one next week, but I think it is limited to using the small woofer and tweeter they provide. Let me know if you want more info... -Casey Walsh |

What exactly do you mean by competition? There are frequent 'meets' where people get together to listen to each other's projects, but AFAIK few of those are setup in a competitive format like car audio competitions.

Either competitions or contests....Ive seen a few on the net that reward with prizes or accredation and a certain design criteria to follow..
I would also be interested in meetings too though...someplace where I can listen to other peoples creations would be nice too...preferably in California |
