Default And some brief notes...

The original "Stacks" used a Jaycar 5" woofer + an Audax TM020j? tweeter (the plastic one, yuck!)
I decided that better drivers were the go, so now it uses the Peerless 5" HDS + Vifa D26NC15
The flush mounting of these drivers was done 'old style' using a hammer and chisel !!!

"Askew" always was going to get a stand, I finally got around to making some.
The tweeters in these are a pair of old Yamaha JA somethings I picked up for zip, and man did they cause some trouble!
If you look closely you can see that they have jumper braids on the front. These had decayed, and had to be replaced. I finally ended up using some wire from the inside of an old tonearm !! My eyes are getting a bit past that sort of thing !!!!!
But all's well that ends well, that is a rather nice tweeter and the combination with the 8" Jaycar carbon is rather nice to listen to :-))
