ok, well, i just stumbled across the idea that dayton made their classic 5 1/4" and 6 1/2" speakers in 4 ohm models, and i really wanna make some front speakers for my ht setup. i'm planning on using wayne's bookshelf speakers for my rears (the ones with the 5 1/4" on partsexpress's website). what i'm looking to find is if anyone had used the 4 ohm (or even the 8 ohm ones) 6 1/2" classic speakers for mtm, floor standing speakers. sealed or ported, either way. i saw one of wayne's other designs with the non-shielded 6 1/2", but i kinda would like to see what others have done. planning on also using the classic series tweeter as well.
