Hi Audist
The Mundorf looks like a beauty. The only thing of concern is what the sensitivity of the rest of your system would be. It would be a pity to use such a tweeter and then have to damp it down with an L-pad. The Raidu Acoustics FTT 75 also looks very good, and I would choose the one best matched in sensitivity. One last thing- can you tell me where you get the Mundorf, and what the approximate price is? Thanks, Deon |

Hi Deon;
Thank you for your reply. I know that Raidu Acoustics FTT 75 and the Mundorf AMT 2340 look very good and is my dilemma, I think the Mundorf build quality (not sound) a little better from Raidu Acoustics. The efficiency of my woofer have 89 dB before use with the crossover. The efficiency of Raidu Acoustics FTT 75 have 93 dB and the efficiency of Mundorf AMT 2340 have 98, but is not the problem because I need to use with L-pad when I use with Raidu Acoustics and Mundorf. The retail price of Raidu Acoustics FTT 75 have around 300 Euro include VAT and the Mundorf AMT 2340 sell in USA at 430$. The tweeters I buy directly from the company's. But what sound better? What the Difference between Ribbon and AMT type? Thanks, Audist |

Deon,
You can find the Mundorf AMT 2340 here: http://www.visaton-bausaetze.de/hifi.../baendchen.htm and http://www.mamut.com/homepages/Norwa.../subdet372.htm maybe the Raidu Acoustics FTT 75 measured better... what you think? Mundorf out soon with new line of "Magnetic Tweeter" what sells similar to AMT line. Maybe them be a little better... I attachments picture of the "Magnetic Tweeter". I only know that the efficiency of model 2120 be around 94 dB and work around 1800Hz to 30000Hz. |
