Dear all,
I'm planning to build pair of woofer below: 1. 8"-12" 2. Could use with Petit Onken or Mini Onken. 3. Cut Frequency is 800hz (Cuz, my mid horn is the best from 800-1600hz) 4. Budget appx. $300. I luv Leonard Cohen, Louis Amstrong and some soft bass. I'm looking for some JBL driver but there are so much Part Number then I'm so confusing Thx in advance, Cominup

Somewhere out there is an Onken calculator spreadsheet... only specific ranges of drivers work in them. I'd try to find that and start plugging drivers into it to see what works (haven't done so myself)

Notice that Supravox specifically uses the jensen "porting" for their 285GMF driver
http://www.supravox.fr/kits.htm#Jensen http://www.supravox.fr/haut_parleurs/285_GMF.htm They are less than 300 (each) If you can use a lower "q" driver then consider the Beyma 12G40 http://profesional.beyma.com/ENGLISH/producto.php or an even lower "q" driver (that costs less) then consider the OEM Ciare 12.75WI http://www.ciare.com/oem/index.html

THanks all,
I've check and have some more confusing. May be I have to change plan from mini-onken to petit-onken, means change driver from 10" to 12" My friend recomended me some JBL driver such as 2235; 2226 and their price appx. $500/pair-used. I hvn't enough bucks rite now. So, I think that I will build a pair of petit-onken and waitting for any driver could match with! So, when you were building petit-onken, what did you get, could you tell me about some experience, some tip and trick, some improving, some changing you did to get your private mood. It's more interesting than just build it up with exactly the same with basic design, isn't it? regards, Cominup
