haha, pretty funny
I wonder how they actually sound...they're really shallow...don't look like they can do much in the midbass department

Those look like shallow mount coaxial car drivers.
He's recommending not to run them off your HU. Not so funny then, but oh well.

I think he means - best run with a power amp - not just the low power amp built into the car radio / cd player.
