How do you make portable CD player speakers?
I bought these cheap speakers that have horrible sound. I want to know if I can take it apart and hook it to another small device with good sound. The good sounding device I have is a portable radio. It has perfect sound but it doesn't have any wires or inputs to connect to my CD player. I was thinking of mixing up the pieces of the two devices to make a device that gives good sound and will be able to play music from my CD player. Is this possible? If so, tell me how to make it happen. |

I may come down to a question of cabinet size. I use the Tangband W3-871S in a cabinet ~7"x7"x6.5" and a Sonic Impact T-amp with my Walkman. Sounds pretty good.

What do you want to hook up? Horrible sounding speakers? >> The good sounding device I have is a portable radio. It has perfect sound but it doesn't have any wires or inputs to connect to my CD player. So basically you want to hook up your cd player to your radio that has no inputs? But the radio has a speaker, right? I wound not do anything with those speakers you bought. It is possible to add an input to your radio to connect a CD player. But depending on you skill level it might not be easy to do. You could be better off buying better speakers, or a radio with an input for a cd player. |

Yeah, I blew off most of that. My suggestion still stands for a good sounding portable system though.

Would these work?
Or do you need them more portable? Actually a small TB driver like the one listed above would be a good choice if you can manage to hook them up. Cal |

It seems that you want to play the output of the CD player out of the speakers in your radio, yes?
