Default Monacor MCE-4000

Anyone with experience with this mic capsule?
I want to build a measurement mic to measure freq. response of loudspeaker elements, and the panasonic WM-60/61 are hard to get here in norway. The MCE-4000 has good specs and looks like a decent candidate.

Check it out here

No, it's not. The specs are not the same:

WM-60A:
Sensitivity –44±5dB
Frequency 20–20,000 Hz
Impedance Less than 2.2 kΩ
S/N ratio More than 58 dB
Max. operation voltage 10V
Standard operation voltage 2V
Current consumption Max. 0.5 mA
Sensitivity reduction Within –3 dB at 1.5V
Diameter 6mm
Height 5mm

MCE-4000:
Sensitivity 5mV/Pa/1kHz, ±3dB (equals -46±3dB)
Frequency range 20-20,000Hz
Output impedance 2.2kΩ
S/N ratio > 58dB
Power supply 1.5-10V DC current /0.5mA
Diameter 6mm
Height 5.8mm

Looking at the specs, the MCE-2000 looks a lot like the WM-60A.

And it comes out as the best in this months Klang&Ton microphone test: Klang&Ton
They also explain how to build your own mic using the MCE-2000 capsule.

Was it the MCE-2000 that came out best? What other microphones did they test?

If I remember correctly the MCE-2000 came out best. They also tested the MCE-2500, MCE-4000 and the MCE-4500. I'll check the article this evening to make sure.
