can anybody help what are the advantages of having an Edge Wound Coils, & shorting rings in magnet.

Edge wound voicecoils have less free air space in the winding so they conduct heat better and have better fields. The copper ring is a method to short eddy currents and reduce inductance in the coil. They also reduce distortions generated by movement in and out of the gap.
