A friend built a pair, and I listened to it for an hour or so. Very clear, and detailed sound. The focus was slightly lacking, but the sound seemed to come from everywhere. Very pleasing on the ears, and stupid good for the price of parts.

You might want to ask this question over at the Madisound forum:
http://madisound.com/cgi-bin/discuss.cgi Many of the people who've built that design probably hang out there. Dennis also posts quite regularly and would likely be willing to put you in touch with people who've built it before. |
