Default single or dual mids

Thanks for the help below, I may have to just buy ac ouple of units and sell off what I don't use. I am in debate though if I should use a single mid or use dual mid for efficiency. The SS, Seas And Accuton are all atleast at that 89db mark, and if I ise two I could really extend the efficiency. Are there any tradeoffs for the extra 3 db? Also I would be forced to use either the Seas or the Accuton because the SS is a 4 ohm driver. My speaker design will be a 4 ohm over all design the ss ring tweeter is 4 and the two eton's in parralell will be 4 so I can either use one scansoeak 15m or 2 seas excel 15m's Thanks in advance.

Default Re: single or dual mids

The 3dB due to increased Sd is only seen in the bass region.
