Default Best ribbon to team up with CSS WR125S or Adire Extremis?

Looking to do an MTM design.

I know these drivers are "only" $70US (CSS) each, but am willing to team them up with the best ribbon possible that will work with their specs for under $400 each.

Any thoughts out there?

At CES last year Adire had an Extremis MTM with a ribbon. I think it was a AC G2.

I dont remember where I found this but here is a pic of it. I think Al Wooley at RAW acoustics built this so maybe he can tell you more.

A number of reference designs as well as finished products are being developed using the Extremis, the WR125S/T and a number of different tweeters including ribbons. The Lambda, Omega and SuperSpires designs are complete and these use an OEM ribbon from Aurum Cantus.

Kits from US $199 a pair to $4200 a pair will become available over the next 2 months. Stay tuned!

Default Ribbon for CSS WR125

Based on some of my recent work I highly recommend that the Aurum Cantus G2si or the OEM A-C G2i that Bob mentioned in his message. Typically, you can use a 3rd or 4th order crossover from the WR125 above 3000 Hz and you'll be there. I have used the A-C G2, G2si, and the G2i. I can recommend all of them. The major difference between them is that their cost varies directly with their sensitivity. More cost and you'll have more sensitivity. The lower cost G2si and G2i are excellent when used correctly.
