Dipole Surround

I have a Polk audio home theater system in my apartment, however, I would like dipole speakers. I am thinking of trying to make my current surrounds into dipole surrounds. I have an extra pair of tweeters from a set of them I haven't used. (By the way the system is, R30 fronts, CSi40 center, r20 surrounds, csi20 surround back)

Can anyone direct me to some good websites on an entry into loudspeaker design, more into the construction area. I know how to use theil small parameters to figure out the box size, etc. (I have emailed polk asking for the T/S parameters on the R20 woofer. If anyone knows somewhere else I can get them, please help).

Also, if I put in a second tweeter in parralel (but out of phase), wouldn't that make the tweeter section "too sensitive", I am told if I find this is a problem to put a 4 ohm resistor in parallel, however, wouldn't that appear as 2 ohms to my amp, and since it is only 4 ohm stable cause problems.
