I have some time on my hands so I think I'll try and assemble an FAQ for the loudspeakers forum.
I wont be providing any of the answers since that would be the blind leading the blind, but hopefully I can get the organizing done. lets start with the questions. thoughts? |

What's the difference between Home Audio, Car Audio, and Pro Audio speakers?
How do speakers wear out? Why do speakers come in so many different sizes. Why do they have different parameters? Why do they have different impedances? Why is there so much conflicting information on Line Arrays. What's with this "Chaos in the near field" on line arrays? What does magnet weight have to do with? What about neodymium? What does stuffing do? What's the best stuffing per situation? Why do so many people in this forum spend so much time trying to squeeze out the highest efficiency, flatest response, and best value? |
