Greetings!
I am now finishing my first loudspeakers and I have some doubts about the tweeter. I've bought two Beyma T-2030. They are excepcional in many areas. The only problem I see with these tweeters is the high-freq response: above 15K (+-2dB) there is a gentle roll-off and at 20KHz they're at -12dB. They do not take advantage of the SACD information above 20KHz. So, I am looking for an equally excepcional tweeter that reaches at least 22K at +-2dB (if possible, 25 or even 30KHz). Money is no object. Crossing point will be 4KHz 1st order (3.5 ways loudspeaker). Nominal impedance 4 to 8 ohm. Efficiency > 90 db 1W @ 1m Response Linearity is crucial; as well as low distortion, and spaciality. Can someone help me find a substitute? |
