Hi

I tried search this forum, without any good results.

So my questions is that, does anybody know any resistance box desing for Tang Bands?
or even other drivers?
Resistance box theory is not clear enough to me and I just wondering, that is there any resistance box desing in the web? I didn't find any:confused:
If some one know, please let me know!

If some one does not know what kind desing I mean, take a look to these Amphion speakers:
http://www.amphion.fi/
Resistance box gives a cardioid radiation pattern (heart shape) so rear radiation is damped very well.

It is commonly referred to as aperiodic loading now, which means 'without period', i.e. little/no impedance peaking at Fb. I do not know of any program available to the public that can simulate the polar plots, but MJK's MathCad 'PORTED' worksheet can sim a fairly accurate frequency response plot once you change it to allow more stuffing density adjustability: http://www.quarter-wave.com/

Then it will be up to you to experiment to either find the hole pattern density that most closely matches the sim's resistance, which assumes loose polyfil, or just drill a hole pattern that looks good to you and attach as much stuffing as required behind them to get the desired response, the way most of us do.
