Default Not piezo question again?

Sorry .... Creating very long (24) NSB array http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...number=269-570

Would like pros/cons for array of CTS piezos vs. one good horn for the tweeter part. I have plenty of piezos to experiment with.
Crossover will be around 3400 hz for 4" spacing. Combing starts there but was wondering if one octave above that would be OK for nearfield listening. Thanks, Zene

Can you spell, "frayed Knot"? Afraid not. BC comics

Crossing a piezo that low may take you into the ugly part of their range, but is well worh experimenting with.

A matching tweeter array to my mind is better... you won't be ransitioning from a line array to a point source.

Have you seen this Piexo XO article?
