I am a beginner and I was reading Dickason book about how to calulate the cabinet volume given a certain speaker parameter. But what if you are using D'appolito configuration where you have two woofer driven in-phase?
The equation for speaker cabinet volume for a single woofer is given by: Vb = Vas/alpha (alpha is compliance ratio) For D'appolito configuration, would you have to double the Vas parameter since you have two drivers driving the box? |
