Question 2-way, 3-way, filter ???

Hi, I'm new here...

Heres a starter question...

I wanna design a passive stereo three speaker cabinet.
(1)LEFT(full range) / (2)SUB / (3)RIGHT(full range) -(it's a baritone guitar rig)

I have a stereo tube power-amp to power it...

What do I need to be able to run the two 1/4inch Left/Right outputs of the amp into Speaker 1&3 and also filter low frequencies to the SUB speaker (2) ?

Is a way to do this?

Is there a part on the market that has two 1/4inch inputs that can be built into the cabinet and then wired to the three speakers....(with or without a selectable frequency knob...)

thanks DIY-ers great forum

That's definitely NOT what he needs.

If you have a dual voice coil woofer then it's doable with a pair of passive crossovers. You'll have to add the 1/4" jacks though.

If your sub is not dual voice coil you're out of luck unless you get another sub.

You're right Bill - I missed the word "passive" in the original post.
