Thanks for all the links and info, Im gonna buy some of the cheap speakers posted and experiment.
Are there any good links or book I can read to learn about how to hook the speakers up and building a crossover. Thanks!

Here is a very detailed whitepaper from Audio Engineering Society on line array theory & applications,
and a whitepaper from JBL on line arrays
