new horn design

i am presently working on a new midrange horn i have a pair of altec210 for my front l&r cinema. I need to build a centre channel mid . A horn loaded dipole would be interesting so this is what i will build. i'll put up some sketches and suggestions if anyone is interested.

Would you clarify what you mean by this please? Do you mean that the rear chamber of the compression driver and/or a cone driver like a 416, would not be used, with the driver radiation into the room from behind as well?

And if so, to what end?
