Fostex / ACR T950 ring radiator tweeters

I've recently ripped apart my old PA system which used Fostex ring radiator tweeters. I bought them used about a decade ago after hearing them in a 3way setup. They provide a very smooth and transparent top end while still having very high efficency. Quite pricey, though.

They are labeled as "ACR T 950 Ring-radiator tweeters". Someone told me they are actually relabelled Fostex drivers. I couldn't find them on the ACR and Fostex home pages.

Does anybody know if they're still in production? What would be a current replacement of at least the same quality?

The Fostex T950 is no longer in production(ended 1990), and they don't suggest any replacement themself: http://www.fostexinternational.com/d...atibility.html , but You may be lucky.

I've also heard that ACRs are relabled Fostex, or produced under license, but who really cares, as long as they're good!?
