I'm looking for an application to test an active filters with the soundcard and standard stereo or multichannel amp.
One channel for each speaker, so a stereo card should be fine for a 2-way filter. Every channel should be configurabe with the digital equivalent of the analog active filter. I want to use this to test an active filter, before actualy building it lspCAD comes close, but you need to tweak it a lot to use it for my purpose ![]() So any contibution is welcome, and of cource, if possible it schould be free, of freely testable |

If you happen to have a Soundblaster card with either 10k1 or 10k2 chipset (certain audigys ,live etc.) then THIS will be perfect for you needs.
You can setup any filter you like and send it to any output of the card you like. Very nice alternative to Creative´s drivers. I still haven´t tried the drivers but do a search in the forums and you´ll find quite a bit of information. AsioXO is another alternative and if you´re a Linux user there´s even more software that´d do the trick.
