Does anyone have experience with changing the filter caps in Magnepan MG12SE speakers? The high section cap is a Solen 33uF and 0,1uF parallel cap. Has someone tryed Jensen PIO's, North Creek and Auricap's and know the differences?
Thanks for any information! |

Personally, I would leave them as they are. I know that a lot of people will swear by the expensive caps on the market, but in all of the blind listening tests I have been involved in, there has never been any evidence that more expensive is actually better. Solens are fine. Put your money where it will be far more effective, like bi-amping.
