Default Help with PA

Hi im not sure if a PA system counts as a loudspeaker but i could really do with some advice.

I am looking to do an intallation at the skate park / venue/ arts center were are currently developing. The sound stage will be approx 10m wide in a room 25-30m (L) ~15m (W) whith a clearance of approx 3.5m(H).

I have been offered the following system

1 pair of Altec Lansing cut down 4560 bass bins with 15" HH drivers

1 pair of mid-range speakers (martin design) loaded with matching 12" HH drivers

1 pair of RF radial horns
Assorted box of speaker cables (all XLR)

Was wondering what sort of output i could expext and whether it would be suitable for this venue (i kow there are a lot mor factors involved but rough yes or no would do)

Also what should i be looking to pay for this ?

I am new to this whole PA lark but i was hoping some one could give me some advice or point me in the right direction.

Cheers

I know definately the power is greatest in the bass region, decreasing power with increasing frequency.

You need amplifier headroom.

Sensitivitys are probably 95db -105db. Can only guess.
You dont mention any amplifiers.

Because your in a room, you can use the room boundarys for the subwoofers(horn or not)

Take a look at -

Yes, a very loudspeaker.

Wait till Bill F. has a chance to answer. He's full of it. Good information that is.
