Default "Lill Mean Green"

Take a Silver Flute W20RC38-08 ($26-Madisound), Parts Express 25W Subwoofer Amp ($30- Parts Express), stick them in an MDF box (11.5 x 11.5 x8.25 inside dim-.63 cu ft ) with a 1 7/8 x3 vent, fibreglass wrapped in cheesecloth stapled to 3 walls , two coats of auto bedliner paint oversprayed with Hunter Green, add spikes and you have a nice little sub.

WinSpeakerz predicts an f3 of 59hz, and it really sounds clean. Good for computer audio, or a small room. I plan to put them below my ML TQWT Bi-polars which currently use TB W3871S.

Just a thought, for less than $100- a good , small, powered sub.

Sounds interesting. So have you built one yet? If so, how did it turn out?

Yes, I have and it a nice little beast which I plan to use with two TB3871 Sats for my computer sound. Obviously, an 8" without much of an Xmax won't blow you away, but it puts out respectable levels of bass and will cross to the TB's at 90HZ.

I would attach pictures but the file is too large, will Email if your
interested.
