Default any good kevlar mid-woofer?

hey guys, ill do an 3way front speakers for my home cinema, i want to use one aurum cantus G2Si, one or two 5.25 or 6" as mid-woofer (prefered with kevlar) and an woofer.


someone know an good kevlar mid-woofer? (not too expensive) i dont want to spend more than 300U$S on each speaker.

Not sure about 6in drivers but the Scanspeak 8554 8in unit is superb, low fs 23hz. A friend uses them in a two way with first order xo and the result is excellent

Does it have to be kevlar or are you just looking for the yellowish color.

For kevlar look at the Monacor SPH165KEP (or 135KEP if you want them smaller) They are very good

Even better IMHO is the SEAS G17REX/P wich is yellow glass

thanks guys.... ill see the curves of these speakers...

yellow glass will be ok too, just like how the yellow looks

maybe will be cool to use one black woofers and other platinum.

If its the yellowy colour you are after vifa make some glass fibre cones.

well kevlar looks better, but the vifa is not so bad

There is a nice looking Kevlar mid-woofer on the RAW Acoustics clearance page (52KVB).

No idea how it sounds, but at $35USD prob worth a gamble.
