Default stupid port question

I am building a box which will need a port with a bend it would be easier to run it down the inside wall & across the bottom with the opening being one diameter away from the other side .

The rule of ports being at least 1 diameter away from all surfaces in a box
Does this apply just to the entry& exit only or does it apply to the whole body of the port as well thanks

hi busterno1!
i's should be the same diametr lengthwise your port, but be sure about spurious response is will not show up as well. I had lot of these problem.
another way - making exponential form of port. round, rectangular, square profile...
lot of formulas, lot of version, but anyway you have to do experiment first.

The exit and body can be anywhere, even outside of the enclosure.
