Default DIY Event in Dayton, Ohio

Hi Guys,

Don't know if everyone is aware or not, but there is a DIY Audio event taking place in the Dayton, Ohio area on October 23rd. I would say that the main thrust of the event is on the speaker building area, but there will be some people with DIY amps, etc. Everyone is invited to attend, as it is usually a fun time and a good chance to brush up on some DIY skills.

We usually listen to a bunch of loudspeakers throughout the day, but this year we are also going to have some people giving presentations on certain aspects of speaker building. It's a fun and educational event, and there's a lot of people who are really into speaker building there. If you have any interest in the hobby or are thinking about getting into it, this could be a good chance to see what it is all about. (Plus Parts Express is a sponsor and usually offers a discount coupon for stuff from their store, which is just across the street)

You can find some info at http://www.audiodiycentral.com/diy2004_dayton.shtml

If you've got questions, feel free and ask! If you are thinking of attending, please send me an email to let me know.

Hope to see you all there!

Darren

what a great place for DIY -- you've got the Hamvention in May and the DIYvention in October.
