how to connect an stereo jack

Hello everybody!,

I'm new to this forum so this is my first question.
I have this stereo TV but it doesn't have an audio out connector.. I'd like to connect stereo headphones to my TV. I have an electronics background and I know how to work with electronics parts etc
but I now don't remember how to connect an stereo jack to my TV so that when I plug in my stereo headphones the sound through the speakers will be cancelled and only sound through headphones will be available.
In short, what I need is the schematics!. Can you please send me the schematics or direct me to a web page showing how to make this connection. I know there are hundreds of old electronics magazines that explain how to do it, but unfortunately I don't have one available.

I'm afraid your first post here has hit a problem: TV's are a rather hazzardous area - some even having live chassis, so we cannot take threads discussing TV's internals.
