Does acoustic foam conduct electricity? could it be shorting my crossovers when I put them in my box? They worked fine outside the box, but since I've put them in, they are no go.

Take a DMM and put it on the highest resistance scale and measure between two points on the foam. If there is any movement on the scale go lower until you are in the right range to see it. There is such a thing as conductive foam used to prevent static buildup.

hmmm, weird enough, I didn't have any reading when testing the foam, but when I shielded all my connections, it started working great
