OK... Well, I bought these on Ebay, and I would consider selling some of them but I need some building suggestions before that happens.
These are all Radio Shack speakers. 40-1197...2 pairs 4 inch (like the FE103???) 40-1043...1 pair 8 inch 40-1272...2 pairs 8 inch (90 dB, 25 watt with the whizzer cones) 40-1240...1 pair 5 inch 40-1041...2 pairs 5 inch 40-1042...1 pair 6 inch 40-1284E...2 pairs 5 inch 40-1261...1 pair 5X7 inch 40-1297C...1 ea 4X10 inch. I have box speakers and that's all over with. Presently, I have a strong liking for arrays and have built two sets but I'm ready for something all together different. 1" MDF is on order and 3/4" is here. I would like to build some back loaded horns. I am looking at the Lowther and/or Fostex plans. As a newb, I would like to learn the recommended relationship between the cabinet volume and TS parameters. Thoughts, suggestions and comments? Thanks in advance! http://www.fostexinternational.com/d...6e_enclrev.pdf http://www.fostexinternational.com/d.../103e_encl.pdf http://melhuish.org/audio/DIYTQ3.html |

Buschorn II works well with the 1197s (but don't use MDF, use plywood)
Most of the other drivers have been discussed on the FR Forum (you'll have to download the archives) dave
