Default n00b here - Where to buy drivers?

Hi -

Here's my first posting for my first speaker build.

I just got my plans & XO circuit boards for the Linkwitz Phoenix speakers. I know where I can purchase everything except the Scan-Speak drivers (21W/8554 woofers and D2905/9700 tweeters).

Does anybody know where I can can purchase them for a decent price?

Also, I am planning on building the Orions after I have tried building the Phoenix speakers, if I like them. Any suggestions on where to purchase the Seas drivers for the Orions?

Thanks!

Default Still need help ...

Anybody?

From what I've seen searching on the 'Net, I may have to buy overseas. Aren't there some suppliers here in the US?

You can buy Seas at the following places in the US.

Madisound
Zalytron

Linkwitz's kits are very complex, quite an ambiscious first project, wow. Also, do you realize that you will need 6 amplifiers to run a pair of Phoenix speakers?

Good luck.

You can also visit the swiki on this site (link the homepage)
it has a lot of links to driver manufacturers and other suppliers.

I get my drivers from or madisound or Parts Express

You can also visit the manufacturer site and see who their dealers are.
