I would like to upgrade the components in my crossover network. I have listed the components that were recommended and the components that I would like to use as upgrades. Do you see any problems with making these changes?
Do you think that these changes would add any value to the speakers that I manufacture? Also, the stock components I have found are not the exact values of the components that were recommended. Do you see any disadvantages with this? LPG 26NA 0.25mH, 20ga ..... Jantzen copper foil .27 mH, 16ga. 3.0uF, Film ..... AudioCap 3.0uF - 200v Film. 9.1 ohm 10w ..... 9.1 ohm non-inductive resistor. Vifa P13WH-00-08 1.62mH, 18ga Air Core ..... Jantzen copper foil 1.80mH 16ga. 10uF ..... Solen metallized 10.0uF - 400v. 2ohm 15w ..... 2ohm 10w resistor. Any suggestions on this would be very helpful. Thanks. |

I cant tell you about audicap. You can also check www.scr.fr for polypropylene dielectric cap in series with the tweeter, they re more than great. 250volt is minimum voltage rating for mkp caps.
