I am am illusion audio guy when it comes to car audio, i have almost ever single one of their drivers. I have a surplus of nd10 speakers. They are a 10" shallow mount carbon fiber coned driver with a front mounted neomidium magnet. Here are the correct and accurate specs not found on the web (illusions website has the wrong specs listed)
Recomended sealed enclosure .9cu ft Mounting depth 2.9" Weight 10lbs range 32hz-500hz (E) 250w (SPL) 94.5db (RE) 4 (Fs) 36.92 (Qms) 4.58 (Vas) 68.73l (Cms) 369.33 um/n (Mms) 50.38g (Xmax 10%) .942" (D) 8.45" (Sd) .0362sq m (Qts) .373 (Qes) .406 (Re) 3.6 (Bl) 9.3 TM How do you think these would work as either a woofer or subwoofer in a home enviornment. I just hate to see them sitting there. Thanks Hans |

Might be better to play it safe, and just build a push-push pair (box size will double over above, but the magnets would be exposed to cooling air and you'd move the same amount of air. dave
