I'm designing a crossover for my truck using the Seas 25TAFN/G and the Peerless 850518 6.5" using Lspcad. The truck has tweeter pods on the doors that are at least a foot higher than the woofer. I can get a flat response in Lspcad with a nice reverse null, but it turns ugly when I change the Z-axis offset. Since the Z offset will be different for the right and left when sitting in the driver's seat, should I design 2 different crossovers? It would sound bad for the passenger, but oh well
Are there any general guidelines for autosound crossovers? |
