I have 8 8" drivers that have an eff. of 88db/1 watt. I am going to have 4 sets of 2 in series, then parrellel all the sets for a 4 ohm load. What effciency will the have overall?

Ideally, the array sensitivity improvement is 9 dB while you can achieve 3 dB improvement from the impedance reduction. This is a total of 12 dB fo ryour 8 drivers. In practice you may not realize all of this--drivers must be spaced within a wavelength, some array interactions, and any allowance for baffle step compensation will degrade the 12 dB.

they will only be playing up to 300hz, with a very wide baffle, around 6 feet. Do i still need BSC?
