I heard a pair of Technics SP6060 (I think) a long time a go and was very impressed, they do make some very good products.

It grew -- you just have to sort thru the chaff... i have a lot of very happy eBay clients.

That particular model of technics thou -- i'd be hard-pressed to justify $40 for.

And like all the Japanese manufacturers, Thechnics is capable of building some top-notch kit... they often just get branded by the very low-end stuff they sell (some which is junk)

I think your being kinda rough on the guy,didn't you
notice the dual 12" woofers those speakers are sporting.
Speaking of 12"ers I've seen some peerless xls 12 for
a modest 129.00 Has anyone delt with musicnut ? As
far as E-BAY is concerned I picked up some nice VINTAGE
stuff myself and could'nt be happier
