Default Open baffle - from cardboard to...

I decided to get rid of the cardboards I am using as open baffles and put there something decent (ok, it was not really me but the wife). I am using beyma's 8AG/N and dont want to fill the living room with extra big baffles. So I though of the design in annex. The lower part is for a sub (visaton ws 20 gave nice results in OB). It will be made in MDF. The upper part is acrylic with a piano hinge in the outer side.

I am thinking about puting this wing or making two wings. The beyma's fs is 105 Hz, so the baffle does not have to be very wide. But the symmetry of the baffle may be not the ideal.

Need some opinions here.

You should actually get better results with asymmetry.
