I seek help. I am going to install new VIFA D25AG-35-06 aluminum dome tweeters in my boxes and wish to use L-pads. Being that the tweeters nominal impedance is 6 ohms, with VC resistance 4.6 ohms and the L-pads are 8 ohms, I am seeking advice on how to accomplish this with a crossover frequency of 5000 Hz. One of the projects in Dave Weems speaker book does this, but I don't have the book any more. I would like to know if I need impedance equalization, as Vance Dickasons cook book suggests to smooth the sound, or whether I need a notch filter, or not. Zener diodes, etc. Basically any info that would help me will be appreciated. Types of capacitors, resistors, circuits, etc. I cant find The Le for this tweeter to do the math. I am new to this forum and any help will be appreciated. Thank You.....Douglas
