I dont know if i screwed up link but what do you guys think of the new 6.5 inch woofer? 11.5 mm of x-max. I think its really cool. Some sort of mini super sub project. I would like to make a 6th order bandpass unit with this but QTS is off? I tried some freebee modeling software and it said this. 6th order seems very complicated. Ideas for this woofer? JIMBO

A driver that goes to 50Hz is not a subwoofer, no matter what the excursion. The only advantage it has is for someone who absolutely cannot use an eight. Performance that is worthy of being called a sub-woofer is available from its 8 inch big brother or from the MCM 55-2421.

Default 83 dB on air?!!!!!!!!

I would wonder what someone want to do with an 83dB driver. Imagine it not in a corner! 79db accounting diffraction loss and room gain? wanna test your power outlet?

20L box ported low and it'd be a great computer sub. I don't remember the port size, but I think it was like 2"dia by 15" or similar.
