...It was very interesting to read so thank you for such an interesting post with two smart giants of sound but its all debate able and we can agree to disagree but what we believe should not be forced on to anybody else regardless of who is more right or wrong....There are no lifes at stake! skys wont fall, the world will not stop and the sun will rise tomorrow...
Hi,
Excuse me, but Svante and I were not arguing at all. It was a civil academic discussion with no name-calling, cheap shots or similar stuff. OK, we might have gone off-topic and annoyed people like yourself but that's precisely why I suggested in my previous post that we end the discussion. Svante agreed. Nobody was forcing anything on anybody.
BTW, this forum serves the purpose of not just giving practical advice on how to build, design or buy things but also the purpose of enabling people to exchange ideas, discuss and debate all DIY-related issues on a more theoretical level, using plausable arguments and equally plausable counter-arguments. Nobody expects skies to fall, take my word for it.

Regards
Milan

I had the same feeling, actually. In fact I ended pointing out that we would probably have the same view on most things.

Good, i just felt maybe you 2 gents had locked horns on a subject that both of you would not yield on.

I can only say from my view it seems that it was a civil but heated debate, dont get me wrong it was enjoyable but i just didnt want things to get to bent out of shape.

best regards

Troy

Don't think so, and I'm looking forward to more discussions with moamps.
