the eve2 has only one 8555 but it is a start.
I see it is now a closed design with Q=0,5 (how many litres?)
ok thanks Geenius!

Hallo Aaron,

I designed a extension cabinet for my smaller bookshelf type speakers using this Scanspeak unit. Not sure how they sound though, not finished yet.
I used WinISD, if you're determined you want to use these drivers, just plug some data in Win ISD and simulate them.

Initially I wanted a closed design (because the bookshelf loudspeakers are closed as well), later on I went for maximum extension and used a tuned port (I can always close the port and still have a usable closed speaker cabinet).

Regards,

Jarno.

Had a look at the eVe II, my system is similar (I am not quite sure how much internal volume I had, I think 50 litres).

Just go for it!

Regards,

Jarno.

As I understand the 8555-01 was intended for closed use and the 8555-00 for ported designs I allready have 4 8555-01's so no choice here. I have used lspcad for simulation. what is the volume you are using (and port dimentions?)

It´s the other way around I believe. 00 for closed and 01 for reflex loading.
